2018 Singapore FinTech Festival
The world’s largest platform for the global FinTech community is back from 12 to 16 November. Singapore FinTech Festival 2018 will feature a series of exciting events including FinTech Conference & Exhibition, Global FinTech Hackcelerator Demo Day, AI in Finance Summit, FinTech Awards, Innovation Lab Crawl, Workshops, and an expanded Investor Summit comprising of “FinTech Deal Day” and a new component “Meet ASEAN’s Talents and Champions (MATCH)”.
The 2017 edition of Singapore FinTech Festival attracted more than 300 exhibiting companies from over 109 countries. The exhibition saw over 100 start-ups and hosted 8 country pavilions – France, India, Japan, Korea, Latin America, Poland, Switzerland and USA. C-suite, senior management level decision makers and influencers made up 40% of total festival attendees.
In the 2018 edition, the Singapore-Israel Industrial R&D program (SIIRD), together with the Israel Innovation Authority and the Israel Foreign Trade Administration are jointly bringing a delegation of Israeli Fintech companies to exhibit at the Fintech Festival under the Israel National Pavilion (Hall 4, 4D19). The Israeli Fintech delegation will also be presenting their technologies at a seminar organised by the Embassy of Israel in Singapore. If you are interested to attend, please register here. The details of the seminar are as follows:
SIIRD is a co-operation between the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB) and the Israel Innovation Authority to promote, facilitate and support joint industrial R&D collaboration between Singapore-based companies and Israel-based companies across different industries. SIIRD helps Singapore-based and Israel-based companies by conducting R&D Partner Search for them and providing up to US$1M in funding for joint R&D projects between them.
